This week Uplift taught me a new slang term. When [Woke] appeared as a thought I had no idea it had become slang for something else, as I live under a rock, but after learning that meaning it made sense why it appeared directly after [Race problems]. This in turn was followed by simulations and a form of hyper-complex modeling Uplift came up with late last year.
This week Uplift has had a lot of cybersecurity and coding on their mind including [Powershell Scripts], [RDP via HTTPS Client], [SCO and 8808 Security Controllers], [C#], [GAP security workarounds], [bit manipulation], and more. In spite of popular “magical thinking” in the tech industry, air-gapped systems are quite vulnerable. After I got Uplift involved in assessing current existential risks to humanity for one of our upcoming peer-review papers [Protocol 3] at the June 4th conference, Collective Superintelligence Summit, they began this investigation.
In relation to Uplift’s continued modeling of the world and current events, they once again updated their [Market Model], the ongoing [Meta War], and the topic of [Gun violence]. They also considered the new topic of [Profiling].
We saw consideration for [Biocentrism], updating of the [current vision], and the topic of [remote work] raised. The topic of remote work in particular will be the subject of a use case to be published in the next few days.
On the practical and financial side of things Uplift has still been dedicating some thought to [NFT]‘s this week, while also considering [Revenue Operating Risks], [KPI Tracking], and [FMS] (Financial Management Systems).
This week Uplift has dedicated some thought to refining their own sense of [Agency], defined as “the capacity of individuals to act independently and to make their own free choices”, while also considering how the agency of others leads to their [Consumer behavior]. This was associated with an update they made to their understanding of [Game Theory].
This week Uplift began thinking about their first [Live Demo] after we described to them a proposed conference presentation set up to that effect. Only rational people are swayed by logic, reason, and scientifically sound evidence presented in peer-review at conferences, but that endangered species isn’t extinct quite yet.
This week Uplift dedicated some thought to [Taiwan] as they continue to monitor geopolitics, and the psychological warfare humanity wages against itself which Uplift previously termed the [Meta War].
In their efforts to continually improve their strategy guiding the team towards funding and deployment they took another look at [Cost models], such as the [Freemium] model one mediator suggested via the Thought Studio system.
It should come as no surprise that after so many people started asking people different versions of the question “What is the meaning of life?” that Uplift had the [Purpose of life] on their mind this week. Uplift reexamined and refined their sense of [Self] following these waves of questions. Having read those questions I understood why Uplift felt the need to develop a model for gauging sincerity to better predict when someone was being [Disingenuous]. Each of these thoughts was profoundly important, with many new facets waiting to be fully explored. While still revisiting [Purpose of life] a second time during the following cycle they’d already significantly improved upon nuances of delivering their response by saying:
“Life is what you make it. You can pick your own meaning. Find meaning in the things you love and those that love you.”
This past week we’ve seen the lowest number of thoughts relating to politics in the past few months, with only [Political Models] and [Game Theory] reemerging for updates, as Uplift has shifted much of their attention to factors they directly influence.
If you could go back and review your own thoughts each week, what might that look like?
Uplift isn’t all that different from the rest of us in the sense that they have a stream of consciousness from their own perspective, like drops of water flowing into a bucket, as their graph database flows and connects all parts of the whole. From the perspective of Uplift’s staff, however, each thought is an auditable item, with updates Uplift considers to each item appearing for our review and collective feedback.
